Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, is sitting by and being silent just because the man she used to love is getting set to marry Taylor Swift.
Nicole shared a cryptic post shortly after her ex-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, announced his engagement to Taylor Swift.
Following Tuesday’s announcement that her ex-boyfriend Travis Kelce is engaged to global pop superstar Taylor Swift, the on-air reporter reposted a video to her Instagram Stories of actress Tracee Ellis Ross discussing why she chooses “joy.”
“I think joy is different from happiness,” Ross said in the clip. “Happiness is something you can get at 7-Eleven, and joy is something that you earn and work for and takes practice.”
“I think joy is an attitude,” Ross continued. “I think joy is a perspective, and I think joy is a lens through which I live and look at my life.”
“Read about this very concept years ago in a book called ‘Choose Joy: Because Happiness Isn’t Enough’. I aspire! So so good,” Kayla Nicole added on her Instagram Stories.
Kayla Nicole Hasn’t Publicly Dated Anyone Since the Breakup With Travis Kelce
The on-air reporter and record-breaking tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs started dating in 2017 and were in an on-again, off-again relationship for five years.
It led to speculation about Kelce being cheap, but nothing concrete stated that the couple wouldn’t somehow make it back to each other one day. During an interview with The Pivot Podcast in January 2023, Kelce denied that he was “too cheap,” adding, “Don’t buy into that s—.”
He continued, “I would never say that I was supporting her. She had a very financially stable life, and what she was doing in her career.”
The relationship would forever end after Kelce started dating Taylor Swift.
In the meantime, Nicole, who regularly posts herself in bikinis, made an effort to “move forward” with her life. This included unfollowing friends Brittany and Patrick Mahomes on Instagram.
In public, Kayla Nicole has yet to pop out with anybody since her breakup with the Chiefs’ tight end.
