But now the singer and TV personality, 43, is excited to take her life in a different direction.

According to People, a source has said, “After years of an intense daily schedule, she’s excited to move at a different pace and have more flexibility to spend time with her kids without the structure of a daily show.”

The source continued, “This change gives her the space to be more present at home while still doing the creative work she loves.

“Kelly still wants to make music and perform, and she’s open to popping up on projects she enjoys, but nothing that requires an ongoing daily grind.

“For her, this next phase is about balance,” the source concluded.

When the sad news of the daytime show coming to an end was revealed, Kelly shared a statement where she touched on her time hosting her iconic chat show.

“I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ both in Los Angeles and New York,” she said.

“There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons.

“I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”

She later added in the statement, “This was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show.

“Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”

The news of Kelly’s show coming to an end came around the same time as the news of Sherri Shepherd’s talk show also ending.

The hit show, Sherri, will air its final episodes in the fall.

According to Variety, Lionsgate’s distributor Debmar-Mercury confirmed the news Monday.

“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus said in a joint statement.

They added, “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”

And amid the news of Kelly and Sherri’s shows being canceled, a television source exclusively told The U.S. Sun that nerves are running high behind the scenes at The Jennifer Hudson Show.

“Jennifer’s team is panicking that they will be next on the chopping block after the news about Sherri and Kelly.

“And truth is, there does not seem to be much of a future for The Jennifer Hudson Show,” the source claimed.
