Kid Rock was caught lip-syncing during his Super Bowl Halftime performance on Sunday…  because he was really bad.

The 55-year-old artist headlined the Turning Point USA Super Bowl Halftime Show, and he’s gone viral for the poorly-timed mouthing of his own song.

TPUSA revealed they would present fans with an alternate Halftime Show following Bad Bunny’s selection. They’re probably very pleased wth the outcome, with over five million viewers tuning in.

Still, Rock took a fair bit of criticism online for his lip-syncing.

“The Turning Point USA halftime performer was lip syncing 😭😭😭,” one X account noted.

“Kid Rock is literally lip syncing his entire performance. I’m not joking,” another offered.

“Kid Rock’s lip syncing is even more egregious than Ashlee Simpson and Millie Vanilli,” one user claimed.

“I am in tears at how badly Kid Rock is lip syncing. It really is perfect though. A perfect representation of how inept MAGA actually are,” someone claimed.

Performers lip-sync all the time. That’s why it’s a thing. Kid Rock is taking heat because he simply didn’t do it justice.

As one fan pointed out, “he was off by 5-6 words too.”
