After LeBron James’ well-wishes, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever got off to a hot start in the first half of their season opener against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.

Throughout the first half of regulation, Clark led all scorers with 12 points, while also notably making her presence felt on the defensive end of the floor with three blocks.

The Fever also had big contributions from Natasha Howard, who logged ten points, Kelsey Mitchell, who had nine, and Aliyah Boston, who logged eight points and six first-half boards.

The hot start to the half marked the beginning of a season filled with championship aspirations for Indiana.

After a big return to the postseason last year, the franchise is entering into the 2025 season with a bolstered roster comprised of young standouts and seasoned veterans.
