The Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan is currently in the spotlight due to the ongoing antitrust lawsuit with NASCAR. Recently, a fan’s unexpected move added a spine-tingling moment to this unfolding legal drama.

On the Friday before, Michael Jordan arrived to participate in the ongoing antitrust lawsuit involving his team, 23XI, Front Row Motorsports, and NASCAR. However, before Jordan could enter the courtroom, a fan decided to create some excitement for one of the greatest players of all time.

As Jordan walked into the courtroom, a fan played the legendary Chicago Bulls intro music in his honour. A video of this moment recently surfaced on social media and quickly went viral.

Jordan’s antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR was filed in federal court on December 1 in the Western District of North Carolina. Jordan’s team, along with Front Row Motorsports, has accused NASCAR of operating a monopoly. They claim that NASCAR controls the tracks, sets the rules, and manages the finances, suggesting that the proposed charter deal in late 2024 is unfair.

Jordan played a significant role in popularising basketball worldwide. He had an illustrious career in the NBA, where he won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls. Many consider him the greatest of all time (GOAT), and he recently proved why he deserves that title again. In addition to his sports success, Jordan achieved great things in the business world.

In 1984, Nike created a signature shoe for him called the Air Jordan, and in 1988, they developed the iconic Jumpman logo. Eventually, Nike established the Jordan Brand as its own division. In a recent interview with Mike Tirico for NBA on NBC’s “MJ: Insights to Excellence,” Jordan stated that he initiated the trend of athletes desiring their own logos.

“I’m pretty sure I’m part of the reason why everybody tries to get a logo…But the thing is, that brand was established based on what I did on the basketball court. I didn’t put the brand before I put the work,” Jordan said.

Jordan received a major boost in his business ventures through his Jordan brand. He is one of the world’s richest celebrities, with a net worth of $3.8 billion as of 2025.
