Mike Tomlin shut down any talk of Shedeur Sanders and his development.

During Week 17, the Steelers needed to defeat the Browns in order to clinch the AFC North title. Standing in their way was the rookie quarterback. Looking to get his second career victory, Sanders has his mother and father in the stands at Huntington Bank Field.

Pilar showed off her custom outfit while Deion Sanders stressed out in his suite over an interception.

It took some time, but Shedeur Sanders finally got the second win of his NFL career. The rookie completed 17 of 23 throws for 186 passing yards. He had one passing touchdown and two interceptions.

Following the game, Mike Tomlin was asked about his development as a quarterback. When asked to weigh in on Shedeur, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ head coach showed how little he cared.

“It does not matter,” Mike Tomlin said. “He is not a Pittsburgh Steeler. He plays for the Cleveland Browns. I’ll let the Browns talk about his evaluations… I haven’t looked at it through that lens.”

“I’m looking at it through the lens of somebody that we need to compete against this weekend. His growth and development is not my charge. Preparing a plan to minimize what he and they do is my charge.”

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is continuing to make an impact as the starting quarterback for the team. The fifth-round pick out of Colorado won his second game in six starts in Week 17.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski hopes he takes something away from each snap he takes. “I think the big message for all players and definitely at the quarterback position is to learn from every single play, he said.

“There are plays where you have to tip the cap to the defense and recognize, you know, they’re in the right coverage, or they made a play. There’s other times where you let it rip and you see the right coverage and you’re playing on time,” Stefanski said.

Sanders will have one more opportunity to start for the Browns. The team will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18.

In his rookie season, Shedeur Sanders has recorded 1,289 passing yards. He also has seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions. It remains to be seen if Stefanski will commit to Sanders for 2026 or if Cleveland will look toward a new signal-caller this spring.

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.
