Laura Sanko is certainly quick with her responses.

The ESPN analyst is going insanely viral after she had her co-hosts covering their faces with what she said during their live broadcast on Friday.

Sanko was joined on the UFC weigh-in show by Daniel Cormier, Chris Weidman, and RJ Clifford as they previewed UFC 320. During one conversation, they spoke on their ‘Top 3 Signature Moves in the UFC.’

Clifford used his time to dismiss the effect of Khamzat Chimaev’s takedowns.

‘Khamzat’s double-leg [takedown] is amazing, but you’re not, like, sitting up at night and thinking about it, ‘ Clifford said.

Daniel Cormier was completely shocked over what he said and quickly said, ‘Of course you are! How are you not staying up at night, thinking about laying on your back for 25 minutes?!’

Seeing her moment to shine, Laura Sanko jumped in and shut everyone down with her response as she added: ‘I’ve been on my back for 25 minutes, it’s not that bad.’

Everybody is Not A Fan of Laura Sanko

Laura Sanko had her co-workers in tears when she spoke about being on her back during a recent discussion about takedowns.

Cormier covered his face and said, ‘Laura! That’s some crazy sh–‘! Did y’all hear that? Oh my god.’

Clifford would then jump back in and add:

‘You’d think Mr. Sanko would change it up. 25 minutes and you’re okay with that?’

Unfortunately, not everybody is a fan of Sanko.

Last year, former WEC Lightweight Champion and UFC veteran Jamie Varner ignited a controversy online, criticising Sanko’s skills after the Ribas vs Namajunas fight.

In 2024, Varner posted a series of tweets as she called Sanko a “try hard” who “sucks so bad at commentating.”

He claimed she spoke “about things she knows nothing about” and said she should “leave the commentary to the people that have actually fought.”

Laura Sanko fired back and reminded him that she is also a trained and experienced fighter. Varner would go to delete his tweets.
