Folks on social media believe Draymond Green was caught mouthing to his Warriors teammates that the spread was 5.5 before their loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night.

The Timberwolves gave up the first game of the second-round playoff series to Golden State, but they’ve since taken a 2-1 advantage, with Steph Curry out due to a hamstring injury.

The Dubs suffered a 102-97 loss to Minnesota this weekend, coming out on the wrong end of a five-point reverse. Cameras caught Draymond mouthing something to his teammates with the scores still at 102-94, and it’s believed that he was saying the spread was at 5.5.

Golden State hit a three to cover in the dying embers.

“Did Draymond tell his teammates that the spread was 5.5? The Warriors hit a 3 & covered in the final seconds,” Barstool Sports captioned a video showing Green speaking and even holding five fingers up at one point.

Fans Are Convinced Draymond Green Was Reminding The Warriors Of The Spread

Social media didn’t think there was any chance Green was not relaying the spread to his teammates.

“It’s all fixed. Stop betting the spread. Start betting player props,” a user commented.

“KINDA SKETCHY,” another wrote.

“Is this collusion with the sportsbooks? Likely not, but should 100% be investigated!” someone else declared.

“That’s an investigation,” claimed a fourth.

“Sure looks like it… seems absurd but….🤷🏻‍♂️,” another fan offered.

Of course, there were doubters.

“Yall are delusional if you think they hit that 3 just to cover a f***ing spread,” a comment read.

The NBA takes a hard stance against betting influencing its games. Still, it’s unlikely this goes anywhere.
