NCIS fans are eagerly awaiting the introduction of Tony and Ziva’s daughter, Tali, played by young actress Isla Gie.

Tony DiNozzo (portrayed by Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) have been co-parenting their daughter Tali (Isla Gie) in Paris for the past five years.

However, as former NCIS agents, providing a normal life for Tali proves challenging, especially when Tony’s security firm is targeted, prompting them to send Tali away for her own safety.

Despite this being Isla Gie’s debut as Tali in the Paramount+ spin-off, the 14-year-old actress already boasts an impressive list of credits.

Gie began her career on stage in 2018, performing in the UK and Ireland tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Les Miserables, where she played young Eponine and little Cosette.

In 2022, Gie made her television debut in two episodes of the award-winning Apple TV+ thriller Slow Horses, alongside actor Gary Oldman.

She played the role of Struan Loy’s (Paul Higgins) daughter, an MI5 agent assigned to Slough House.

Her next significant role was in Stephen Merchant’s BBC sitcom The Outlaws, where she portrayed Holly, the granddaughter of seasoned criminal Frank Sheldon, played by actor Christopher Walken.

She subsequently appeared in two further prominent productions: Netflix’s DC adaptation The Sandman portraying young Zelda, followed by Prime Video’s Mammals alongside James Corden in the role of Greta.

The rising talent also featured in a science fiction short entitled Villain two years prior, working with This Is Us favourite Bella Ramsey.

This year witnessed Gie transition from television to cinema as she took part in the action thriller A Working Man, performing alongside Hollywood legends Jason Statham and Stranger Things’ David Harbour.

She portrays Merry Cade, the daughter of Levon Cade (Jason Statham) who seeks to reclaim custody from her grandfather Dr Jordan Roth (Richard Heap).

Gie additionally starred in the adventure fantasy production Legend Has It as the character Suri, acting opposite several other notable performers.

These include Silent Witness favourite Emilia Fox, My Best Friend’s Wedding actor Rupert Everett and Friday Night Dinner’s Tamsin Greig.

Beyond NCIS Tony and Ziva, Gie has also featured in Apple TV+’s science fiction series Foundation, which is anticipated to return for a fourth series.

Whilst discussing Gie with TV Insider, Weatherly declared: “Isla is the most incredible.”

De Pablo added: “She’s like the still Yoda. She’s a remarkable younger human because there’s this ageless quality about her.

“She’s wise beyond her years. And it so happens she’s our child. I was like, really? This came from us? She’s a remarkable creature.”
