Joe Burrow’s days with the Bengals are numbered.

While he enjoys himself in the offseason, even sparking dating rumors with Hollywood star Jessica Alba, Joe Burrow’s future with the Cincinnati Bengals remains a huge question mark in the NFL.

The former No. 1 pick is projected to leave the Cincinnati Bengals after several years of struggles to win games, advance to the playoffs and, above all else, stay healthy behind a weak offensive line.

Burrow, 29, is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but many think he is wasting his talents in Cincinnati. A trade appears to be the most likely exit door for Burrow, and Colin Cowherd shared when he thinks it would happen.

While he will likely stay on the team for 2026, trade rumors surrounding Burrow won’t stop, especially if the Bengals fail to surround him with talent. In a conversation with John Middlekauff, Cowherd said Burrow could leave the Bengals in 2027.

“My take is, Burrow just for his sanity, has really enjoyed his offseasons, because deep down he knows, I’m not playing with the same level of scouting department, we’re not making deals happen,” Cowherd said.

Middlekauff floated the idea of him going to Los Angeles.

“It does feel like Sean McVay (will make a big trade) for him next offseason,” the analyst said.

Burrow has played at a high level in the last two seasons. The Bengals’ defense and offensive line have been the team’s weak links over that period. The quarterback demonstrated that he can put them in a position to win, but the other units must step up.

He went 173 of 259 for 1,809 yards and 17 touchdowns with five interceptions in just eight games in 2025.

It is hard to imagine him sticking around if the Bengals fail to make a splash this offseason. Joining the Rams would do wonders for his career.
