Football fans had the same complaint about Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN analyst Troy Aikman during “Monday Night Football” between the Kansas City Chiefs and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Troy Aikman and Joe Buck had the honors of calling one of the best “MNF” games in recent memory, with Trevor Lawrence leading the Jacksonville Jaguars to a thrilling 31-28 win over Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs.

Lawrence scored the game-winning touchdown on a one-yard rush after inadvertently falling on the nap. The Jaguars are now 4-1, defeating the Chiefs for the first time since the 2009 season.

But in a contest that featured enough bad calls to the point where fans thought the refs were “rigging” the game for the Chiefs, other viewers thought Aikman was showing a bias against the defending AFC champions.

“Troy Aikman legitimately hates the chiefs lmao,” said a fan.

“Troy Aikman really hates the @Chiefs and it’s showing big time tonight,” wrote a user.

“Does some committee pay Troy Aikman to push “the refs help the Chiefs” conspiracy theories? Because dude is OBSESSED,” a fan said.

“Joe Buck & Troy Aikman can’t stand the Chiefs success. They talk them down every time they have the call,” wrote another.

“Does aikman and buck really hate the chiefs? There has been weird calls on both teams tonight and they only talk about kc?” asked a fan.

“No announcers in professional sports hate a city as much as Joe Buck and Troy Aikman hate kc,” a user added.

Of course, every announcer and analyst is accused of loving or hating a certain team. You can also find a plethora of posts about fans accusing Aikman of being biased towards the Chiefs.

Aikman and the ESPN crew will call the Chiefs’ Week 8 home game against the Washington Commanders in three weeks.
