Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert subtly performed an inappropriate gesture while being filmed by a cameraman, forcing the official NFL X/Twitter account to quickly remove it.

Justin Herbert and the Chargers are looking to start 2-0 for the second straight year tonight, when they visit Geno Smith and the AFC West rival Las Vegas Raiders (1-0) at Allegiant Stadium.

Before kickoff, the official NFL X/Twitter account posted a clip of Herbert walking back to the Bolts’ locker room with a bag in hand. But as you can see in the video below, Herbert stealthily flipped the bird at the cameraman as he left the field:

As noted by Dov Kleiman, the NFL has since deleted the video from their “X” account.

And a good evening to you, Mr. Herbert.

Justin Herbert looks to build off a superb Week 1 performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns to go along with 32 rushing yards.

Herbert’s personal life has also been widely followed in recent weeks, as he’s been spotted with music star Madison Beer in public on multiple occasions.

The Chargers made one big-time statement by upsetting the Chiefs last week. The Bolts had lost seven straight to Mahomes and company dating back to 2021, but they played near-perfect football in a 27-21 victory.

With the Chiefs and Denver Broncos both losing on Sunday, the Chargers have a golden opportunity to move to 2-0 and assert themselves as the team to beat in the AFC West. The Bolts host the Broncos on Sunday, so a 3-0 start would go a long way in helping this franchise secure its first division crown since 2009.

Kickoff for the Chargers-Raiders ‘Monday Night Football game is set for 10:00 p.m. EST. The Chargers swept the season series last year en route to an 11-win season.
