One man was pretty lucky to score an incredibly rare hand at the blackjack table, but the government swooped in for their cut before he could even collect his winnings.

A story has been trending online following TikTok user @tiffspliffky, a casino games dealer, sharing a video detailing how a player won $32,000 but immediately lost two-thirds of it to child support payments.

“Last night, this dude sat at my table all f**king night long,” she said. “At one point, he said he was down, like, $2,400. So he pulls out, hits the third one last $100. One last $100, but it was the third last $100.”

Tiff recalled watching the dude keep reaching for the last $100 to stay in the game, then raised an all-heart blackjack, a scarce hand.

“It’s where he has blackjack; I have blackjack. And we are suited. Everything was hearts, I think,” she said. “He gets paid … $32,000 on the s**t.”

According to Tiff, the gambler’s joy was short-lived, as the government intercepted the payout, given the sum of $23,000 owed in child support.

“Tell me why… I’m talking to my supervisor later, and the motherf**ker owed $23,000, $23,000 in child support, so they intercepted it,” she explained.

The player was lucky enough to leave with $9K, which was probably a lot more than he walked in with.
