Even when Angel Reese has nothing to do with a conflict, her name gets brought up.

Such was the case this week in the ongoing battle between Israel, 𝙄𝙧𝙖𝙣, and the 𝗨.𝗦. .

𝙄𝙧𝙖𝙣launched multiple missiles against an American military base in Qatar on Monday in retaliation for the 𝗨.𝗦. . strike on its nuclear facilities this weekend.

The 𝗨.𝗦. . weapon defense system was on target and already ready to defend itself.

No casualties were reported, and both Qatar and the Trump administration were made aware of the 𝙄𝙧𝙖𝙣ian attack ahead of the time.

Qatari air defenses intercepted a total of 14 𝙄𝙧𝙖𝙣ian missiles. One missile struck a building near the Al Udeid base, but there were no casualties and no damage inflicted on military infrastructure.

Social media had a field day over this information.

Somebody took Chicago Sky star Angel Reese’s face, photoshopped it on a person from 𝙄𝙧𝙖𝙣, and captioned it, “When you miss all your missile shots…”

Angel Reese Sets Another Milestone

Angel Reese continues to work on her offensive game during a sophomore slump.

After finishing 13-27 last year, the Sky entered Tuesday night’s matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks with a 3-10 record and riding a three-game losing streak.

The second-year forward drafted No. 7 overall in 2024 out of LSU, Reese has quickly become the focal point of the Sky’s roster and is already regarded as one of the WNBA’s brightest young stars.

At halftime against the Sparks, Reese had tallied four points, four rebounds, and four assists.

According to “Polymarket Hoops,” Reese is now the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 150-plus rebounds and 50-plus assists in a single season.

In the first quarter of that same game, Reese became the fastest player in WNBA history to record over 600 points and 600 rebounds in her young career.

Through her first 13 games of the season, Reese is averaging a double-double with 10.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.

However, she is shooting a putrid 37.4% from the field.
