The photo quickly lit up social media, with fans and fellow broadcasters alike chiming in to praise the duo’s laid-back vibe and strong friendship. Known for their work covering high-stakes NFL games, Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson proved they can shine just as brightly off the field. Their podcast, Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, has become a fan favorite for its unfiltered conversations — and this beachside moment was a real-life extension of that chemistry. Between the sun, style, and smiles, the post served as a refreshing reminder that these two powerhouse women know how to work hard and unwind harder.
Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson are living the good life.
Charissa Thompson, a Fox Sports and Amazon Prime Video “Thursday Night Football” host, posted a beach day photo with her good friend, Erin Andrews.
The two NFL reporters, who also host a podcast together, decided to soak up some sun over the weekend and shared a photo of their time together.
Erin Andrews took to her Instagram story and posed herself rocking a two-piece red bikini, while Charissa Thompson could be seen in a multi-colored two-piece bikini. Both women are lying down on a backpack lounge chair.
Thompson could be seen with a drink in her hand, plenty of jewelry on her left arm and hand, and a necklace. Erin Andrews also appeared to have jewelry on her left arm, as well as a necklace.
Charissa Thompson found herself in hot water earlier this year when she admitted she “would make up the report sometimes because, A, the coach wouldn’t come out at halftime or it was too late, and I was like, I didn’t want to screw up the report, so I was like, “I’m just gonna make this up.’”
“No coach is gonna get mad if I say, ‘Hey, we need to stop hurting ourselves, we need to be better on third down, we need to stop turning the ball over and do a better job of getting off the field,’” she added. “Like, they’re not gonna correct me on that. I’m like, it’s fine, I’ll just make up the report.”
She apologized for choosing “the wrong words” while making it clear she never attributed anything to a coach or a player falsely. Luckily for her, it did not affect her current job.
In 2012, Andrews moved to Fox Sports from ESPN, where she continued her work as a sports reporter and host. She has been involved in Fox’s NFL and MLB coverage, as well as significant events like the Super Bowl.
Andrews remains on Fox’s top NFL team, alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen, and sometime in the future, Tom Brady when he finally starts his broadcasting career after signing a massive deal well before he would hang up his cleats for the second and final time.
