The 2025 NFL season is less than two months away, which means it won’t be long before Melanie Collins is back on the sideline.
Collins has been with CBS Sports since June 2018, solidifying her status as one of the network’s top sideline reporters. She’s currently part of a broadcast team that features Kevin Harlan and Trent Green. As of now, that team is expected to return for Week 1 in September.
Before CBS signed Collins to a deal in 2018, she worked for ESPN and Yahoo! Sports, covering the NBA, NHL and college basketball.
“Collins was the face of Yahoo! Sports where her assignments included reporting from all major sporting events across the globe including the Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, NCAA Football National Championship, Stanley Cup Playoffs, NCAA Basketball Final Four, NFL Draft, NBA Finals, and the World Series,” her bio for CBS states. “Collins was formerly the host of Big Break and Driver vs. Driver on Golf Channel.”

The talented sideline reporter has been keeping herself busy this NFL offseason, that’s for sure.
Earlier this month, Collins attended the New York City premiere for “Jurassic World Rebirth.” She conducted interviews on the red carpet for Entertainment Tonight.
On Saturday afternoon, Collins provided an update on her offseason activities. This time around, she shared a selfie of her wearing a pink workout set.

Collins is no stranger to going viral on social media, especially during the NFL season.
As of this writing, Collins has over 165,000 followers on Instagram. That number is bound to grow during her eighth year with CBS.
The NFL season officially begins on Sept. 4 with the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
