IT was already a tense night in the turret – but viewers of The Traitors didn’t even get to see a majority of the fireworks that went off during the explosive reunion.

Behind the glam and glossy Peacock edit, three jaw-dropping reunion moments were left on the cutting room floor, insiders have told The U.S. Sun.

Season 4 of The Traitors came to a screeching halt on last night’s dramatic finale which was immediately followed by a heated reunion.

Bravo boss Andy Cohen returned, cloak and all, to host the special accompanied by every contestant from this season.

While fans got to see a glimpse into the drama, production insiders have exclusively told The U.S. Sun that multiple key scenes were cut and didn’t air.

“A lot of the conversation with Colton was not use. They didn’t show everything,” a source exclusively revealed of controversial contestant Colton Underwood.

“He was confronted even more by Lisa Rinna which didn’t make the final cut. He also had more to say on his own that they couldn’t include due to time.”

According to the source, the exchange was far more intense than what made it to air, with Colton pushed to address both gameplay and off-screen controversy.

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Colton was not be allowed to discuss ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph during the reunion and had to stay mum on his legal issues.

In 2020, Cassie filed for a restraining order against Colton, alleging stalking and harassment, before later getting it dismissed by the court.

However, the former Bachelor wasn’t the only cast member who lost airtime.

“The reunion heavily cut out a lot of Michael Rapaport,” the insider said. “He was going off backstage nearly the entire time in the room to the side of the stage.

“He was mic’ed up so production caught everything but it wasn’t exciting enough to use. Just Michael being Michael.”

While the podcast host brought his signature high-volume commentary, producers ultimately felt much of it didn’t advance the story.

Another casualty? Reality TV strategist and Survivor fan-favorite, Rob Cesternino.

“Another surprise was Rob C, who was very vocal at the reunion,” the source added.

“He made a lot of strong points about the game and was pretty funny, he had the cast cracking up at multiple points.

“Producers just felt it wasn’t strong enough to include so they cut a lot of that for time too.”

Fans only saw snippets of Rob’s analysis, but insiders say he delivered one of the sharper breakdowns of the season’s betrayals and banishments.

You Got Rob-bed

The reunion ultimately zeroed in on the season’s biggest shockwaves – including the dramatic win by Rob Rausch, who was crowned champion of Season 4 after navigating a minefield of alliances and accusations.

Rob’s victory capped off a season packed with blindsides and strategic backstabbing, cementing his status as one of the franchise’s most ruthless yet calculated winners.

His win came at the expense of his Love Island co-star, Maura Higgins, who was stunned speechless by his shocking betrayal.

Maura, who was a faithful in the game, was fooled by Traitor Rob to believe he was also a faithful.

In the last moments of the finale, Rob revealed his true identity as a Traitor – meaning he got to take home the entire $250,000 prize pot and left Maura empty handed.

However, in an attempt to make amends, he offered to buy her an Hermes Birkin bag, which retails for at least $15,000.

While Season 4 of The Traitors just wrapped, The U.S. Sun previously reported that casting is underway for Season 5.
