RHOBH’s Kyle Richards Breaks Silence On Dorit Kemsley Feud And Sets One Condition To Rebuild Their Friendship
For the last two seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley’s friendship has been on ice. Yet, there is one condition under which Kyle is willing to repair their relationship, but what would it be? Keep reading for more on what the mother of four had to say.
Kyle Richards & Dorit Kemsley Have A Long History
When Dorit Kemsley was introduced on RHOBH by Lisa Vanderpump in Season 7, she seemed to click with Kyle Richards quite quickly. Over the years, their friendship grew and got even closer when LVP was gone. However, there was some tension given how close Kyle became to Teddi Mellencamp. Then, Kyle attached herself to Morgan Wade, and Dorit felt even more excluded from her former friend’s life. Eventually, Kyle and Dorit were both going through marital separations, so it seemed they would come back together. They only grew further apart.

It got vicious, and their friendship has never been the same. Now, Season 16 of RHOBH is starting to move ahead, but Kyle has been promoting Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. While doing so, she shared the one circumstance that would allow her and Dorit to reconcile:
“If I’m coming back [next season] … you know that I would repair things with Dorit. I would like to be able to put that behind us and start over and maybe get some things off my mind, some things that people had done and said this last season.”
One big issue is that the women have not spoken in some time. Kyle Richards shared that she congratulated Dorit on her book, which came out June 2nd, 2026. Despite the disconnect, Kyle maintains that she still has a soft heart for the former designer:
“It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family. I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.”
No Reason To Wait
RHOBH fans felt that it was ridiculous for Kyle Richards to wait until they knew if they had been cast or not. Of course, she is an OG, so she would likely be back. However, it is probably up to her if she wants to put herself through a sixteenth season. Regardless, viewers think that if it means that much, Kyle needs to mend fences with Dorit Kemsley sooner rather than later:
If she really gave a sh*t and cared about Dorit she’d repair the relationship now and not wait until if they are cast.
Just goes to show it’s a work friendship, and not a real friendship.
Of course she would. She knows how ridiculous she made herself look, trying to make everyone hate Dorit. It was her only storyline, and made the show unwatchable and boring.
