Sean Hannity Slammed Live On Air As Fox News Moment Sparks ‘Disgusting’ Backlash

Sean Hannity faced a fierce backlash from viewers after he was caught promoting Fox News during his eulogy at Lindsey Graham’s funeral.
Taking to the podium at the Washington D.C. ceremony on Tuesday, July 28, the television host was heard remarking, “For the Darline it was always a bit risky to have Lindsey Graham on your TV show… I could have easily been fired for any of these occasions.”
He then went on to praise his network’s leadership, adding, “And I’m extremely grateful to my boss, Lachlan Murdoch, he was with us today, and his father, Rupert, the founder of the Fox News channel. They never held me accountable, Darline, for what your brother said.” It comes after Lindsey’s cause of death was revealed.
Outraged viewers were quick to take to social media to express their displeasure at his conduct. One user posted on X, “Well, I was watching the funeral of Lindsey Graham until the obnoxious Sean Hannity began, as usual, making it about himself.”
“So here I am, back for a bit then out to get sun and listen to music,” the user added.

A second wrote, “Show the crowd NOW!! I really can’t watch Sean Hannity anyway!” while a third remarked, “Sean Hannity is an insufferable douche bag.”
A fourth user posted, “Sean Hannity made his eulogy at Lindsey Graham’s funeral all about himself. That doesn’t surprise me,” prompting another to respond, “Couldn’t agree more. Disgusting, not surprising.”
A fifth viewer remarked, “Who couldn’t predict that Sean Hannity would turn Lindsey Graham’s funeral about him.”
Another frustrated viewer commented, “He made Senator Graham’s Memorial all about himself. The guy is so gross. I had to stop watching him years ago because of his massive ego. I couldn’t take it anymore.”

Another viewer criticized, “Sean Hannity is a self promoting buffoon. Even when speaking at a funeral, he needs to make it all about himself. What an insecure jacka–.”
Graham’s memorial service was held following his unexpected death earlier this month. On Tuesday, July 28, Fox News preempted its standard programming to broadcast the memorial service live for the late Republican Senator, who passed away on July 11.
President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, Eric Trump, and Lara Trump all attended the funeral service conducted at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D. C.
First Lady Melania Trump was conspicuously absent from the ceremony.
The former Republican representative for South Carolina died after a “brief and sudden illness,” according to a statement released by his office. It stated, “Senator Graham’s family appreciates prayers at this time and asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult period.”
Graham passed away unexpectedly at his Washington home from a suspected aortic tear, based on initial reports.
