Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton made a colossal mistake in the eyes of X users after posting a photo of his daughter, Meghan, alongside rookie RJ Harvey.

Payton’s daughter is well-known, having worked as a sideline reporter and betting analyst.

As for Harvey, the running back was a second-round pick for the Broncos this year, going 60th overall after a standout career at UFC, where he switched from quarterback to RB and rushed for 1,578 yards along with 22 touchdowns as a senior.

Payton perhaps unwisely shared a photo of the rook and his daughter, which shows them smiling, captioning it: “When your daughter likes your 2nd round pick!!”

To be fair, folks took it easy on Sean Payton in the comments, with most advising him to take the tweet down.

“Coach this app will NOT see it the same way you see it LOL,” one user noted.

“Buddy giving your daughter his first round pick,” wrote another.

“Delete this Unc they about to take this left little bro,” someone else advised.

“Mere hours before your 2nd round pick nearly ruptured her uterus,” another offered.

“Mr Payton doesn’t understand the state of this app,” one comment read.

“Sean I know you meant well but this isn’t the app for this,” another echoed.

Well, the tweet is clearly still there, so it doesn’t appear that coach is too worried. Maybe he hasn’t read the replies?
