DWTS pro Gleb Savchenko almost wasn’t on the current season. Shortly before the official Season 34 celebrity cast and pro partners were revealed, he said on social media that he wasn’t asked to return. Is this season his last? He sparked speculation about his future with the show after saying that Hilaria Baldwin is the “last partner” he’ll ever have.

Disney Night Songs & Dances

After three eliminations, including a shocking double elimination, only eleven celebrities and their pro partners remain on Season 34 of DWTS.

The next theme for the season is the fan-favorite Disney Night, but this year is a little different. The remaining celebrities and their partners take the dance floor on October 7 to honor the 70th anniversary of Disneyland. The theme park opened its doors in Anaheim, California, on July 17, 1955.

Gleb Savchenko Says Hilaria Baldwin Is His ‘Last Partner’

Gleb Savchenko was with model Brooks Nader for Season 33. The two engaged in a shomance that ended shortly after their elimination.

Once he was confirmed to dance with Hilaria Baldwin, he threw shade at his previous partner.

“Finally I have a partner that I can go out there and dance [with] and really enjoy and not try to figure out the routine of like, ‘Okay let me just hide all of your minuses and bring out the pluses,’” he told PEOPLE magazine.

The Season 34 pair posted a video on social media where Gleb lavished praise on Hilaria. “You’re a good person, you’re not fake, you’re real, you’re genuine, you’re humble, you’re hard-worker, you are funny,” he told her.

She listened intently as he continued, “You are generous, you bring me coffee! You are…you have great friends. They are funny, they are awesome. You have amazing kids, amazing family, your husband is Alec Baldwin, come on, what could do better?”

Then Gleb said, “My partner will never be better than you are, so that’s it, you’re my last partner ever on the show.”

Hilaria Baldwin joked in response that they’ll have to keep showing up to practice even after they’re eliminated. But a lot of viewers hope that she’ll be the next to go at the end of Disney Night.
