Chelsea FC got a full dose of what it’s like to be in Donald Trump’s presence after winning the FIFA Club World Cup on Sunday. Not only did they have their trophy lift gatecrashed by the American President, but it turns out he’s also kept their silverware.

Trump has confirmed that the original trophy is actually in the Oval Office, and the one Chelsea got was a replica.

Okay, so Trump didn’t steal the trophy. FIFA president Gianni Infantino presented the gold-plated $230,000 piece to the POTUS during a visit in March, and, according to Trump, he asked when it would be picked up, only to learn that FIFA had no plans to take it back.

“We’re never going to pick it up. You can have it forever in the Oval Office. We’re making a new one,” he said Infantino told him.

The new trophy was handed to Blues captain Reece James on Sunday, with Trump refusing to exit after giving it to the England international.

Trump was also seen pocketing a winner’s medal Infantino handed him during the ceremony. He would later joke about issuing an executive order to have soccer renamed to football.

FIFA has not commented on its apparent gift of the original trophy to Donald Trump. The organization has already faced some criticism after opening a new office at Trump Tower, and this is likely to add another layer.

As for Chelsea, they celebrated their global conquest with pride. But the trophy originally meant to mark their success sits in the Oval Office and may never leave.

If nothing else, the U.S. President could always be counted on to take center stage in whatever he’s involved in, even if he doesn’t have much to do with it.

Fearne announced her split from Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones bass guitarist Ronnie Wood, in December after 10 years of marriage.

She has since made swipes at Jesse and moved on with TV director Elliot Hegarty, with the pair having been seen kissing during a recent night out.

Fearne has had a difficult few months after undergoing surgery to remove two benign tumours from her jawline, just days before her split with Jesse emerged.

She told host Lorraine: ‘It’s all very amicable and kids are doing great. I am in a very good place.’place.’

Discussing her recent surgery, she added: ‘I feel very grateful to have completely recovered.

‘I feel really good. I have a lot of people reaching out who have had the same thing.’

Davina McCall, 56, announced in November she’d been diagnosed with a colloid cyst, a rare type of benign brain tumour, and has supported Fearne.

She continued: ‘Everyone needs a Davina. She’s been amazing, weird that we had the same health thing going on at the same time. She’s so calming and we speak every day. She is just the best

It comes after Fearne has seemingly made another thinly-veiled dig at her ex-husband as she gushed that she is the happiest she’s ever been in a positive update.

Speaking to Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Fearne gushed that she is ‘really happy’ and is ‘springing out of bed in the morning ready for life’.

Scott, who has known Fearne for 25 years, said he has never seen her ‘more positive or happier’, prompting Fearne to agree and reply: ‘Yeah I feel great!’
