As part of his new five-year deal with the Worldwide Leader, Stephen A Smith has made his Monday Night Football debut ahead of the Detroit Lions–Baltimore Ravens showdown.

It was met with mixed reviews, as some fans seem to have a ton of fatigue when it comes to seeing him everywhere.

If he’s not on several different shows, he is on his podcast, or even on a soap opera.

The fatigue of seeing him has become real.

“Nobody wants this,” one person said.

“Mr. Smith is not a positive addition to MNF,” a second person added.

“WTF is Steve Smith doing there? He doesn’t know anything about football,” a third person said of Stephen A Smith.

“Who ASKED FOR THIS?” one final person asked.

The longtime analyst, whose primary roles include commentating on “First Take,” told Front Office Sports that he will work on “at least” three editions of ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” games this football season.

“I’m going to be doing at least three ‘Monday Night Football’ games this year,” Smith told Front Office Sports.
