Danielle Fishel shut down rumors that she put “Dancing With the Stars” costar Whitney Leavitt in her place in a now viral moment after Tuesday’s shocking elimination.

“I definitely did not put her in her place,” the actress told TMZ on Thursday. “But I just went to go comfort my friend.”

“It’s a rollercoaster of emotions with being happy for ourselves and our friends that were safe and also sad that somebody is gone,” she explained, seemingly defending Leavitt, 32, who viewers thought they caught Fishel being stern with.

Lauren Jauregui was eliminated alongside her pro partner, Brandon Armstrong, after Tuesday’s “TikTok Night” episode and their fellow contestants were in visible shock when their names were announced.

Viewers saw pros and celebs rush over to the dance duo to console them after the sad news, but eagle-eyed fans caught the moment Fishel, 44, appeared to dismiss Leavitt who was smiling and celebrating that they were both safe.

The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star’s joyful smile quickly faded from her face as Fishel seemed to shoo her away and ignore her celebration and instead walk over to comfort Jauregui and Armstrong.

Fans quickly took to social media and weighed in on the awkward interaction captured by ABC cameras.

“Danielle Fishel putting Whitney Leavitt in her place after Whitney tries to celebrate making it to another week 😂😂,” one social media user wrote on X.

“Can’t get over how pissed Danielle looks after briefly talking to Whitney. She’s like read the room girl!” another added.

The day after Tuesday’s intense episode — and her alleged diss towards the reality star — Fishel addressed “nerve-racking” “DWTS” eliminations and revealed that she “never ever suspected” the singer to be the one to be sent home this week.

“I really love Lauren. I love watching her perform. … Her face is just a work of art, and she’s expressive and graceful and fun,” the “Boy Meets World” alum gushed on her “Danielle With the Stars” podcast.

“She’s all those things as a person too. I’ve really enjoyed the moments we’ve passed each other in the halls and been able to give each other a hug and been rooting for each other.”

The Fifth Harmony alum’s elimination was extra tough considering she danced to the girl group’s song, “Work From Home,” and had her former bandmates were in the crowd cheering her on.
