Savannah Guthrie’s husband Michael Feldman has spoken out amid the ongoing search for his mother-in-law Nancy, who was reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona home on Sunday, February 1. According to Page Six, who spoke briefly to the father-of-two, Feldman doesn’t “have anything new to report.”

The publication also added that Feldman said he was “just being responsive” but felt “mostly unhelpful.” Finally, he expressed appreciation for the media’s “thoughtfulness.”

Nancy was last seen on the evening of Saturday, January 31, when she had dinner with family and was dropped off at home by her daughter Annie. The 84-year-old was absent from church the following morning, at which point the family called 911. At a February 2 news conference, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed that Nancy was likely taken from her home against her will.

“She is very limited in her mobility, we know she didn’t just walk out of there, that we know,” Nanos explained. “There were other things at the scene that indicate that she did not leave on her own.”

“Right now, we don’t see this as a search mission as much as we do a crime scene,” he added.
