A Cleveland Browns reporter made things interesting on Wednesday by posing a direct question to Shedeur Sanders about Kevin Stefanski, regarding a topic that has been on everyone’s mind.

With Dillon Gabriel recovering from a concussion, Kevin Stefanski announced Shedeur Sanders as the starting quarterback for Cleveland’s Week 12 road game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Sanders threw for 209 yards, a touchdown, and one interception in his first NFL start, a 24-10 Browns win.

Because Stefanski waited so long to start Sanders, some fans have wondered if the two-time Coach of the Year has purposely sabotaged his rookie quarterback. Stefanski only fueled that speculation with his postgame speech after Sunday’s win over Las Vegas.

During Shedeur Sanders’ press conference on Wednesday, reporter Jeff Schudel of The News-Herald boldly brought up the “sabotaging” speculation. Sanders, however, wasn’t going to stir the pot.

“So you just want to start trouble?” Sanders asked, leading to Schudel’s follow-up question about their relationship.

“Definitely like a coach, he tells me what I need to do on and off the field,” Sanders told Schudel. “We’ve definitely grown. Our relationship and everything has grown, so I’m just thankful to be here.”

So, make of that as you will.

Shedeur Sanders Will Start Against The San Francisco 49ers On Sunday

Per ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi, Stefanski has already announced that Shedeur Sanders will get the nod for Sunday’s home clash against the red-hot San Francisco 49ers, even though Gabriel is out of concussion protocol.

Before getting injured in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, the 24-year-old Gabriel had completed just 59.2 percent of pass attempts for 937 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

Sanders didn’t light up the stat sheet in his first NFL start, but it’s hard to make a change after a win. The Browns offense seemed to fuel off Sanders’ passion and energy, so Stefanski may as well see what he can do against a tougher opponent in the 49ers before considering going back to Gabriel.

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.

It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.

On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.

Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget

The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić

Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.

Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.
