Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim have serious allegations levied against them.
Corey Holcomb says that something happened between Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim.
On a recent episode of the Corey Holcomb 5150 Show, he claimed that an affair had occurred between them. The comedian said that Smith and Qerim were “an item” while both were at ESPN. However, he added that Molly had a “terrible attitude.”
Holcomb even shared a conversation between him and Qerim’s former husband, Jalen Rose.
“(Rose) was disappointed at the things I had said because I said, ‘I think Stephen A. Smith is smashing Molly (Qerim).’ Why would somebody be around a woman as draining as that? She checked Jalen on the show when they was married!”
He claimed Qerim’s longevity at ESPN was tied to Stephen A. Smith. “Molly had a terrible attitude. She was straight b–ch. But she was allowed to stick around for a long time.” “That’s how I knew. I was like, ‘He got to be fking that b–ch.’ Nobody would tolerate a Molly. Molly is an awful person.”
“I think Stephen A. Smith is smashing Molly because why would somebody be around a woman as draining as that? He had to watch how he talked on the show. Well, obviously, she had some pool. She did this to them…”
Behind-the-scenes footage of the two in 2023 had social media thinking they had something going on. In 2024, Smith interrupted a conversation just to deny dating allegations between them.
Molly Qerim Bolts From First Take

Qerim shocked everyone when she left ESPN. The long-time ESPN personality confirmed the news on Instagram, saying the job was “one of the greatest honors of my career.”
Reports suggested she declined a contract extension with ESPN. Qerim’s co-host, Stephen A. Smith, addressed her resignation on his podcast show. “Last night she abruptly resigned as the host of the show,” Smith said at the time.
ESPN’s president of content, Burke Magnus, called Molly Qerim an “encouraging teammate.” The 41-year-old first joined ESPN in 2006. She hosted shows on college football and fantasy football early in her career. Her big break was hosting “First Take” in 2015.
That is where Molly Qerim would remain until September 2025. Instead of coming back, she decided it was time to move on, per the Sports Business Journal.
Qerim hosted “First Take” for 10 years and worked at the network since 2005.
