Bronny James’ girlfriend’s father, Dondre Whitfield, caught strays from people on the internet after laughing at a former NBA star’s comments about Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s relationship.
On Wednesday’s episode of the “Hoopin’ N Hollerin’” podcast, Jason Williams made some controversial comments on the Mavs star’s depreciating form. Patrick Beverley raised the topic, saying that he had never seen Thompson shoot the ball as poorly as he has been lately.
The former Bucks guard revealed that Thompson had mentioned that he is past his prime. The Mavs star’s comment caught Jason Williams’ attention, who then seemingly blamed Thompson’s inconsistent output on his relationship with Megan Thee Stallion.
“I’m from West Virginia man. I’ve been taught a lot by some old white folks.They say p**** is power,” Williams said. “It only takes one p**** to drag a battleship across a desert. That’s how powerful it is… Klay Thompson, I ain’t saying that what it is, but that might be what it is.”

Whitfield found Williams’ statement amusing as he dropped a comment to express his thoughts on the podcast’s Instagram account.
“J Will….😂😂😂😂, Dats wild!!!😂😂😂😂” he wrote.

However, many fans were not a big fan of Williams’ comment, and they bashed Whitfield for laughing at it.
“why are you laughing? thought you were better than this. bet you’ll like this being said about your beautiful black woman @sallirichwhit for your failled career. Shame on you,” one fan commented.
“@alldondre surprise you thought this was funny,” another fan said.

Another fan was very disappointed to see Whitfield enjoy Williams’ comment.

Klay Thompson did not sit back and gave Williams and Beverley the silent treatment. He dropped in the post’s comment section and let the former NBA players know his thoughts.
“Referring to my GF as a “p***y” is so disgusting and disturbing. Especially from someone who played in the NBA . How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way ? @patbev21 Do better fellas. Very disappointing,” Thompson wrote.
