Savannah Guthrie posted a two-word mantra Sunday on Instagram as her mother’s disappearance entered its second month.
“I believe, I believe,” Savannah, 54, wrote over biblical photos in a post to her Instagram Stories on March 22.

In a statement issued the same day, Savannah and her siblings thanked the community for its support. “We are deeply grateful for the outpouring from neighbors, friends and the people of Tucson,” the statement read. “We are all family now.” It comes after a mystery man who claimed he “saw Nancy 5 days ago” offered chilling new proof.
“We continue to believe it’s Tucsonians, and the greater Southern Arizona community, that hold the key to finding resolution in this case. Someone knows something.”
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing on February 1 after last being seen on January 31.
“We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder,” the families stament ended with.
“Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home. We want to celebrate her beautiful and courageous life but we cannot do that until she is brought to a final place of rest.”
Savannah first addressed her mother’s disappearance in a February 4 video shared with her siblings Annie and Camron, describing Nancy as “a kind, faithful, loyal, fiercely loving woman of goodness and light. She is funny, spunky and clever.”
“She has grandchildren who adore her and crowd around her and cover her with kisses,” Savannah said.
“She loves fun and adventure. She is a devoted friend. She is full of kindness and knowledge.”
At that time, Savannah acknowledged the possibility of abduction.
“As a family, we are doing everything that we can. We are ready to talk,” she said.
“We need to know without a doubt that she is alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you, and we are ready to listen. Please, reach out to us.”
Savannah, who has been absent from Today, continued posting updates throughout February.
On February 24, she described the emotional toll.
“It is Day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed. Every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then.”
The family announced a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy’s recovery.
