Angel Reese Joins 3-On-3-Women's Basketball League

The WNBA is the gift that keeps on giving. Unfortunately I think people stopped caring about it on the blog because for some reason, Caitlin Clark’s season ending injury wasn’t written about and now Angel Reese isn’t gonna get pageviews.. until I wanted some MeViews.

And it seems like Angel Reese’s time in Chicago is coming to the end, because people watch the WNBA for her too, and that means she’s gotta get on a contender sometime soon:

So what could she possibly have said to get suspended for *checks notes* one half of basketball? Basically that they were trash and needed to get better:

I guess I can see why your teammates may not like that comment. Anyway, the irony of the situation is that the Sky need her so bad that they only decided to suspend her for one half and not the full game, even though she’s suspended for tonight’s game against the Fever because she picked up her 8th technical foul. Credit where credit is due that somehow even with the NFL starting, people seem to be fascinated by the WNBA more than they ever have been.

Now the most confusing part of this story is why a sports franchise went onto Portnoy’s profile and decided to block him like it was Brandon Walker receiving a mean tweet at him:

This league indeed.

The Chicago Sky are in the middle of their second-straight tough season since drafting Angel Reese, and the star forward’s recent comments do not make things any better.

Reese, who recently snapped at her teammates during a game, sent out several comments that conveyed just how discontent she is with her franchise’s current place in the WNBA.

The Chicago Sky star notified her franchise, saying, “I’m not settling for the same s— we did this year,” Reese told the Chicago Tribune.

The Sky have the second-worst record in the WNBA entering Wednesday at 9-30.

“We have to get good players. We have to get great players. That’s a nonnegotiable for me.”

The Sky are led by head coach Tyler Marsh in his first year. He took over for Teresa Weatherspoon after the team finished 13-27 last season.

Now, she may have started a fire that she won’t be able to put out, because now her teammates are pissed.

It has been a tough second season for Angel Reese.

Her shooting and overall play have improved, but the team is still racking up the losses.

Things were so bad that many on social media accused her of faking injuries to avoid playing for the team.

Now, her words about her teammates and coach have her in hot water.

Front Office Sports reported that her teammates are unhappy with her direct attack on them and plan to confront her about it.

For all the criticism she receives, Reese has averaged nothing less than a double-double since entering the WNBA in 2024.
