It’s been five years since a tragic helicopter crash claimed the life of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and seven others.
But his surviving family has been honoring his legacy with their achievements since his passing and his eldest daughter Natalia just made a big one that everyone is celebrating.
This week, Natalia Bryant graduated from the University of Southern California. She graduated cum laude from the School of Cinematic Arts as a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
On her graduation sash, Natalia Bryant paid homage to her late father with a golden version of her father’s iconic logo.

Natalia Bryant hasn’t followed in her father’s basketball footsteps per se, but she has remained an active part of her family’s Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.
Going to college is a part of what the foundation does, as just a few weeks ago the organization gave out multiple scholarships to
“Today on Gianna’s birthday, we’re excited to announce the launch of the Gianna Bryant Scholarship Award! With the support of the Variety Boys and Girls Club in Boyle Heights @varietybgc , we’ve selected exceptional young people who embody Gigi’s Mamba Mentality through their resilience, commitment to equal opportunities, and ability to inspire others 💜🦋,” the foundation wrote a few weeks ago in a video.
“To our recipients, you are representatives of Gianna’s vision – to create a world where young people have every opportunity to follow their dreams regardless of gender or the pressures and expectations we receive from society. Sending all our love to you and your bright futures ahead.
“We look forward to awarding more scholarships in the near future.”

“30 MILLION PEOPLE ONCE LOST THEIR MINDS OVER… A CURTAIN.” Believe it or not, one of the funniest moments in TV history came from a simple green curtain. Back in 1976, the Carol Burnett Show delivered a scene so ridiculous that the entire country practically stopped breathing from laughter. Carol walked down a grand staircase wearing a “gown” made from green velvet drapes—curtain rod still hanging across her shoulders like she’d ripped it straight off the wall. The audience exploded the second they saw her. She didn’t even make it halfway down the steps before people were doubled over, crying with laughter. Costume legend Bob Mackie came up with the idea as a quick joke, but when Carol caught sight of herself in that over-the-top outfit, she literally collapsed laughing. And nearly 50 years later, it’s still just as hilarious as the day it aired.
Long before memes and viral videos dominated pop culture, The Carol Burnett Show delivered one of the most unforgettable comedic…
