One male Toronto Raptors fan surely did not learn a valuable lesson from the Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot incident, which was caught on the Coldplay kiss cam from earlier this year.

On Sunday, the Raptors were at home at Scotiabank Arena facing off against the Brooklyn Nets. The home team won every quarter, except for the third, which led to a victory.

At one point in the game, the team took some time to interact with the fans in the stands.

Cheering fans were caught on camera going crazy as they were put on the fan cam for all to see. As we know, cheaters often attend sporting events or concerts in the hopes of avoiding being seen by their significant other.

Once again, it did not work out for one guy.

A few seconds into the fan-cam, one male Toronto Raptors fan was shocked to see his face on the Jumbotron, which prompted him to quickly put his head down, look over at the girl next to him, and start rubbing his arm.

The woman next to him never made a move as she stayed completely still. They gave it away that they were cheating.

Social media was quick to point out that he could have avoided this mess had he played it a little cooler.

“Only reason he’s going viral is because he reacted. Murphy’s Law, brother. If you’re gonna be a dirtbag, be professional about it,” one fan remarked.

“Reacting like this makes it 1000x worse,” another commented.

One commenter tried to justify the man’s decision by saying, “The girl he cheating with look good though, prob worth it.”

Good luck trying to explain this one away when you get home.

The Toronto Raptors Are Shocking Everybody

Coming into the 2025-2026 season, nobody expected the Raptors to be good. On Sunday, the team won 119-109 against the Nets to improve its record to 12-5.

Believe it or not, that puts them with the second-best record in the entire Eastern Conference. In fact, only four teams in the NBA have a better record than they do.

Brandon Ingram has looked quite good in his early days as a Raptor. Ingram has helped unlock the best of Barnes, who has been Toronto’s best player and one of the best in the entire league.

“(Opponents) know how dangerous he is. He’s been killing them all game on the post ups, (isolations), so you got to send help,” Barnes said recently.

As long as they stay healthy, anything can happen in the East.

The fan base is thrilled, but they may have two fewer supporters after they seemingly got caught cheating.
