THE Masked Singer fans have been left stunned after Queen Corgi abruptly resigned from the competition and revealed herself to be popular podcast host, Claudia Oshry.

Fans rooted for the celebrity within the Queen Corgi costume since they were first introduced to her on the Season 14 premiere.

She again impressed viewers with her vocal chops during Wednesday’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed episode, after belting out a jaw-dropping rendition of Unstoppable by Sia.

The mystery performer even made Rita Ora her number one fan as the “detective” branded the singer as her “favorite” in the entire episode.

However, Queen Corgi’s journey on The Masked Singer was cut short, but by her own accord, as she suddenly bowed out of the competition after the votes were already tallied.

Just as host Nick Cannon was about to reveal the singer with the fewest votes who would be unmasking, Queen Corgi interrupted to announce she wouldn’t be continuing.

“Wait, wait. I have an announcement,” she began, shocking Rita and her fellow detectives, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong.

“I am officially withdrawing from the competition,” Queen Corgi revealed.

Nick then joined her onstage and said it was the first time a contestant had resigned at this stage of the game, appearing just as perplexed as the studio audience.

“I just feel my time has come. I’ve learned so much about myself, but my time is up,” Queen Corgi expressed.

“And there’s so many amazing contestants, and I want them to have the best experience, so I am bowing out.”

This meant that the four other contestants who performed that night – Cat Witch, Stingray, Galaxy Girl, and 14 Karat Carrot – were safe from elimination.

The detectives were dumbfounded by Queen Corgi’s decision, with Jenny going so far as to say she “could’ve gone all the way.”

Based on the clues given, the detectives were convinced that Queen Corgi was either Amy Schumer, Ali Wong, or Whitney Cummings.

So, their jaws dropped when they discovered that the person behind the disguise was actually well-known podcaster, Claudia.

Fans were also just as surprised by Queen Corgi’s sudden departure and her unmasking, which they expressed on social media.

“Queen Corgi was another great non-professional singer who did well. Love when these people surprising us with that,” one person wrote in a Reddit thread.

“Queen Corgi is eliminating herself?” someone else commented.

“I guess she was stoppable after all,” said a third.

“WHY?! Nooooooo,” another reacted on X.

“Oh wow Queen Corgi! What’s going on?! This is so random,” wondered a fifth.

“QUEEN CORGI IS WITHDRAWING? WHAT?” a sixth added.

“Corgi shocking everyone,” chimed in one more.

Claudia explained that she “couldn’t pass up the opportunity” to be on the show, but that she felt she needed to be at home with her newborn son, whom she had welcomed four months earlier.

Fans know Claudia from her work as an influencer, stand-up comic, and co-host of the award-winning podcast The Toast.

Many viewers had already suspected that Stingray and Galaxy Girl are married singers, Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson.

Fans hit the nail on the head with their guesses for last week’s unmasking of Handyman, which turned out to be A-list rapper, Tone Lōc.
