THE TRAITORS castle may be crawling with reality stars, but some of Bravo’s most powerful Housewives can’t even get through the gates.

Despite “begging” to join Peacock’s breakout hit, current Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City favorites are being iced out for one simple, yet unforgiving, reason.

Sources have exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Peacock producers have pursued top-tier Housewives talent from both franchises, only to repeatedly hit an immovable wall.

“[Peacock] has absolutely wanted women from both Beverly Hills and Salt Lake City but it won’t ever happen unless Traitors or Bravo budge on adjusting their filming schedule.

On Beverly Hills, The Traitors producers have sought out Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards, the insider claimed.

Dorit Kemsley has been brought up in discussions too, mainly for the “incredible fashion she’d bring to the show.”

Ove in Salt Lake City, the show’s most polarizing personalities have also firmly on the network’s radar.

“For RHOSLC, Meredith Marks and Mary Cosby were the two Traitors producers were eyeing,” the insider added. “But they’re also very interested in Lisa Barlow and potentially Heather Gay.”

So why hasn’t a single current RHOBH or RHOSLC star made it into the Scottish castle?

According to insiders, it all comes down to scheduling and as of right now, there’s no wiggle room.

“The women from both shows have begged and begged and begged Bravo to allow them to go on.

“They desperately want to be part of the show and part of the pop culture sensation it’s become. It’s good for their careers.

“But the schedule will never allow the current cast of Beverly Hills or RHOSLC to be on Traitors because those franchises film at the same time as Traitors.

“They can adjust it but it might impact other franchises. It’s impossible to have a time frame carved out where no Housewives are in production,” the insider explained.

“Peacock would have to make a huge adjustment to the schedule to allow that.”

Typically, The Traitors films in late Spring, the same time as RHOBH begins their production.

RHOSLC films from Winter into late Spring, making their filming schedules overlap.

In other words, while Housewives may rule Bravo, The Traitors plays by its own rules and isn’t adjusting to accommodate the franchises.

While the current cast of RHOBH has not yet appeared on The Traitors, some past Housewives from the franchise have dropped into the castle.

Currently, RHOBH alum Lisa Rinna is on Season 4 of the Peacock series, where she is making her mark as a Traitor.

During Season 1 of the show, controversial former RHOBH star, Brandi Glanville, starred as a Faithful.

Although she was banished early on in the season, she showed strategic gameplay and accurately sussed out the trio of Traitors.

No one from RHOSLC has appeared on The Traitors yet.

New episodes of The Traitors drop on Thursdays at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Peacock.
