The Puerto Rican, whose real name is Benito Ocasio, delivered on his promise of a fun outing. His Super Bowl Halftime Show was filled with easter eggs, including one moment where he handed a trophy to a child.

Claims of the kid being Liam Ramos, an ICE detainee, were rife on social media.

However, TMZ has since reported that the boy seen on stage was not Ramos. They have cited sources who they say told them it was a child actor.

“Our sources tell us … that’s simply not the case, as the kid in question was a child actor Lincoln Fox Ramadan,” the outlet noted.

Some of the more viral posts suggesting Ramos was the kid in question have also been community-noted.

Meanwhile, there are suggestions that the actor portrayed Ramos to send a message. TMZ has also knocked this back.

“There was no political intent behind the gesture — only to serve as an example for kids to dream as big as performing at the Super Bowl, just like Bad Bunny did on Sunday,” they reported.

Bad Bunny did, in fact, have a message for America at the end of his performance on Sunday.

To be fair, the Grammy Award winner’s bit wasn’t nearly as controversial as expected.
