Diego Pavia offered up his own mother to another man, and he has to pay up.

Pavia, who makes more in NIL money than Shedeur Sanders, apparently made a rather unusual promise to podcaster/comedian Theo Von over the weekend.

The Vanderbilt Commodores quarterback allegedly stated that Von could go on a date with his mother if the Commodores knocked off No. 11 South Carolina on Saturday in Columbia.

SEC Network sideline reporter Cole Cubelic decided to get more information from the 45-year-old podcaster and comedian to confirm what Von had told him on camera.

As the third quarter began to end, the 45-year-old Von was approached by Cubelic and was asked about the reported offering, and he confirmed it.

“The way I understand the story is that — maybe just give me a nod if this is OK,” Cubelic started. “Diego Pavia wins this game; he promised you he would set you up with a date with his mom.”

Von gave confirmation as he nodded his head and said, “Yes.”

Diego Pavia’s mom, Antoinette Padilla, now has to go out on this date.

One of the biggest upsets of Week 3 in college football was Vanderbilt knocking off No. 11 South Carolina.

The Commodores didn’t just win this game; they completely dominated in every way possible. Quarterback Diego Pavia, Vanderbilt rolled into Columbia and stunned the Gamecocks with a 31-7 victory.

Pavia completed 18 of 25 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns. His defense also forced four turnovers for their first 3-0 start since 2017.

Not helping matters in this contest was South Carolina quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate LaNorris Sellers being knocked out of the game in the second quarter after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit.

With the 31-7 win on the road, the Commodores snapped a 16-game losing streak to the Gamecocks. The Commodores hadn’t beaten South Carolina since 2008.
