Definitely can’t be.

A viral post making some wild claims about WNBA star Angel Reese is doing some numbers online. And it doesn’t appear that viewers are slowing down to actually check it out.

The post, which had over 3.3 million views at the time of writing, claims Reese was upset over her ex-boyfriend, Jalen Duren, disclosing her body count.

Reese will be playing for the Atlanta Dream next season following an offseason trade. She remains one of the most popular players in the WNBA, and her posts often go viral.

A clip from a recent IG Live session has done so via X this week, though not for the reasons she’d hoped.

“Angel Reese went live and was very EMOTIONAL after her ex boyfriend Jalen Duren EXPOSED her for having over 80 BODIES at 23 years old 😬👀,” a post from the Obsrvate account reads.

“He’s just mad I had him spending $600k a week on me,” Reese was quoted as saying. “I literally went to LSU 80 bodies is nothing some of my teammates got over 300.”

“This can’t be real?” – a commenter said

“Imagine averaging higher digits in your body count than your stats sheet. A collective sigh is being heard across the WNBA fan base,” someone commented.

“Not only can I not stand her personality, but her voice would drive me insane. And 80 bodies at 23? Who in the hell wants that?” another user asked.

What Reese said in the video wasn’t remotely close to the claims in the caption. All she did was laugh at herself about how her hair looks in the morning. Still, most of the folks in the comments went ahead and bashed her.

A few of them, however, saw right through it.

“Did any one in the comments watch the video long enough to see the caption is clickbait?” one asked.

One fan pointed out that, “he was definitely not spending anywhere near 600k a week on her a** lol that’s 31 million per year. Duren doesn’t even take that much home.”

Just goes to show that due diligence is mostly lost on internet users, who will run with just about anything without verifying.
