Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady seemingly took a shot at his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, in his latest newsletter.

During the 2022 NFL season, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage. There were reports of a rift in their relationship before the final announcement, with speculation ramping up after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers granted their star QB a brief leave of absence in the summer for “personal reasons.”

Brady and Bündchen had two children together, son Benjamin and daughter Vivian. Bündchen and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, welcomed their first child (a son) together in February.

Multiple reports stated that Bündchen was unhappy with Brady’s decision to end his 40-day retirement in the 2020 offseason. She had publicly expressed her concerns about his health multiple times, citing the violence of football and the belief he had nothing more to accomplish in the game.

But in his latest newsletter titled “Your actions reflect your priorities,” Tom Brady appeared to clap back at the notion that he was negatively impacting the family with his decision to play through his age-45 season:

“For instance, I think part of being a great father is being a great example of doing what it takes to take care of your family. I chose to do it by playing football.

My dedication to the sport, the hours of practice, the moments when I was laser focused—those were times when I believe I was doing the best possible thing for my family and my kids, by prioritizing my profession and teaching, by example, what it takes to be really good at your job, what it takes to follow through on commitments, what it takes to be a great teammate; and showing them, also by example, that work is a big part of all of our lives.

Remember, your children are watching everything. They see what you do in every aspect of your life and how you do it. Reading bedtime stories and helping them with homework are not the only ways to be a great parent.

And neither is winning Super Bowls or MVPs. Being a great football player didn’t make me a great dad, but how I became a great player certainly had an impact—from showing up day in and day out, to doing whatever it took to get better, be successful, be a role model, and to provide.”

Was Brady taking a shot at his ex-wife, or is it being taken out of context? You decide, but it certainly comes across as a defensive tone on his end.

Before commencing the final season of his playing career in 2022, Brady signed a 10-year broadcasting deal with Fox Sports worth $375 million. After taking 2023 off from football completely, Brady entered the broadcast booth in 2024.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion will kick off his second year with Fox Sports, alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrews, on Sept. 7.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
