As the debris hits the ground, a fiery explosion erupts and a huge cloud of black smoke is sent into the air.
It’s just one hit of many in a barrage of attacks after Iran warned that it “has no red lines”.
Another huge explosion rocked a US base in Bahrain – dramatic footage showed a huge cloud of smoke rising from the military site as US bases in Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain are under attack from Iran.
Chaos is unfolding in the Middle East after US-Israeli “Operation Epic Fury” blitzed Iran this morning.
Explosions rocked a US naval base in Bahrain after Iran retaliated to US-Israeli strikes by firing a barrage of missiles at Israel.
Smoke was seen rising from a Bahrain US base near its Juffair housing area as the island kingdom said a missile attack targeted the US Navy’s 5th Fleet headquarters.
A woman living close to the US base in Bahrain told The Sun that her “entire apartment was shaken and the windows shattered when the missile hit”.
“But no one had told us to evacuate. My family has now left the neighbourhood.
“People across Bahrain – because of how small the country is – heard the blast and the fighter jets. People living as far as 20-30 miles away from the base. I hope it is over for now.”

In Iraq, rockets have attacked US forces near Erbil Airport, according to security officials.
Jordan’s army said it had downed two ballistic missiles targeting the country – Qatar also reportedly intercepted two Iranian missiles and two further waves of attacks.
In the UAE, one person was killed after Emiratis intercepted Iranian missiles, state media reported.
And witnesses heard a loud bang in Abu Dhabi as the UAE confirmed it has closed its airspace.
Explosions have been reported in Dubai – including one near the marina, which is popular with tourists. Sirens have also sounded in Kuwait.
Blasts were heard in northern Israel after it attacked Iran with strikes that hit near to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s office.
Tehran vowed to revenge the attack, before a barrage of missiles fired by Iran at Israel were identified, the Israel Defence Forces said.
Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard confirmed the strikes, saying that it had launched a “first wave” of drones and missiles targeting Israel.
It said: “We know the United States as the main factor in today’s aggression, and the Zionist regime is the sponsor of this aggression.
“We consider all American bases, resources, and interests in the region, space, and land as the legitimate target of the armed forces.”

Tyrant Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian were both targeted in the “Epic Fury” attacks, an Israeli official said.
Khamenei was not in Tehran and had been transferred to a secure location, a source told Reuters.
Several senior commanders in Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and political officials were killed in the strikes, the source claimed.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Iran an “existential threat” to his country.
He thanked Trump in a statement: “My brothers and sisters, citizens of Israel, a short time ago, Israel and the United States embarked on an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the terrorist regime in Iran.
“I thank our great friend, President Donald Trump, for his historic leadership.”
Air raid sirens rang out in Tel Aviv and the Israeli public were told to seek shelter.
An IDF spokesperson said: “A short while ago, the IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat.
“In the past few minutes, the Home Front Command has sent a precautionary directive directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas.
“The public is asked to act responsibly and follow the instructions – they save lives.”

The strikes come after Donald Trump confirmed he had pulled the trigger on “major combat operations” against Iran – warning Tehran’s “menacing activities directly endanger the US and our allies”.
In an eight-minute speech on Truth Social, the US president urged Iranian officials to “lay down your arms” – or “face certain death”.
He described the attacks as “a noble mission”, saying they were necessary because of Iran’s pursuit of its nuclear programme and long-range missiles that could reach the US.
The US Department of Defense revealed the strikes on Iran have been named “Operation Epic Fury”.
The strikes in Iran are expected to last several days, two US officials told NBC News.
Trump told the Washington Post that his main concern is “freedom” for the Iranian people.
He added: “I want a safe nation, and that’s what we’re going to have.”
Iranian MP Ebrahim Azizi struck a defiant tone in the wake of the incident this morning.
“We warned you!” Azizi wrote in a post on X.
Separately, hardline Iranian parliamentarian Alaeddin Boroujerdi said there would be no “red lines” in responding to the attack.
“We had previously announced that we would have no red lines. We hope this action marks the beginning of the end of the Zionist regime,” he said in an interview with state TV.
“Our response will be regret-inducing. We will use all of our capacities. Our rightful and necessary response, especially to the Zionist regime, will be delivered.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he had called counterparts in countries including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq.
He told them Iran will use “all its defensive and military capabilities under legitimate right of self-defence” to defend itself.

The UK did not take part in “Operation Epic Fury”, it is understood, and PM Sir Keir Starmer is expected to chair an emergency Cobra meeting today.
A government spokesperson said the UK does “not want to see further escalation into a wider regional conflict”.
The statement said: “Our immediate priority is the safety of UK nationals in the region and we will provide them with consular assistance, available 24/7.”
“As part of our longstanding commitments to the security of our allies in the Middle East, we have a range of defensive capabilities in the region, which we have recently bolstered. We stand ready to protect our interests.”
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) Death toll in US-Israeli strike on girls’ school in southern Iran rises to 40 killed, state-run IRNA news agency reports.
The US-Israeli blitz on Iran killed students, Iranian state Fars News Agency said.
An Iranian official said earlier: “In today’s attacks by the Zionist regime on Minab city, a girls’ elementary school was targeted and so far 5 students have been martyred.”
Up to 40 people are now feared to have been killed in the attack on a girls school.
In the wake of the chaos, all major airlines have axed flights to the region, including to Dubai.
British Airways, KLM, Lufthansa, and Wizz Air are among operators who have scrapped flights until further notice.
Wizz Air has cancelled all flights to and from Israel, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Amman until March 7.
