A 6-foot-8-inch women’s volleyball player named Ryanne Brubaker has gone viral online after dominating a game.

Ryanne, who’s only 16 years old, is a middle blocker for Grundy Center and is shown in a video towering over teammates and opponents alike, hardly needing to jump to spike the ball.

You can check her out in the clip below, which has been trending on Twitter/X.

Ryanne Brubaker was listed at 6ft-7in as a sophomore, but the Spartans now have her listed an inch taller.

It appears height runs in her family. Her parents previously posted a photo showing her standing between them while they wore matching shirts reading “Tall Daughter Club.”

The Spartans are quite formidable with Ryanne on the floor and are undefeated through nine games in 2025, with opponents likely finding it extremely annoying having someone of her stature returning their hits.

She has recorded 80 “kills” in just 25 sets this season, with 19 coming in two different matches, recording the feat against Gladbrook-Reinback before repeating it agains AGWSR. She could soon be as popular as Kayla Simmons, who is considered to be the hottest volleyball player in the world.

Brubaker isn’t just tall; she’s got plenty of hangtime, too. The Spartans have posted footage showing that she can reach 10ft-4in rather easily, which means she could definitely dunk a basketball.

At just 16, she would be just as tall as the tallest player on the U.S. Women’s National Team.
