After enjoying nearly two years of love and support from Taylor Swift’s fan base, Travis Kelce suddenly found himself on the receiving end of online jabs from the very group that once championed him.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who recently committed to at least one more season with the team, stirred up headlines this week, but not for anything he did on the field. A shirtless photo of Kelce after a Florida workout went viral, drawing attention not to his football comeback, but to his back hair. What followed was a surprising wave of online criticism, with several Swifties piling on in unexpected fashion.

Swifties Flip The Script

Kelce has been open about his determination to bounce back after what he called a “disappointing” 2024 season. “I still feel like I can play it at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year,” he told reporters. “I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them.” The star tight end reportedly dropped 25 pounds this offseason, clearly taking his comeback seriously.

But on Tuesday, TMZ shared a candid moment of Kelce post-workout in Florida. As he toweled off near a car, his back hair became the focus. “Kelce…put his back fur on full display,” the outlet wrote. The image instantly circulated online, and reactions came fast, many from Swift’s own fans.

“Just saw Travis Kelce’s hairy, patchy back on insta and I’ll never be the same, Stomach dropped. Horrified. Nauseous.” one Swiftie posted on X.

Another added, “Oh HELLLLLL no!!”

A third chimed in, “I know this dude can afford laser hair removal.”

The tone shift caught many off guard, given how Swift’s fan base had largely embraced Kelce after he began dating the pop icon. The support seemed unwavering, until now.

Despite the online noise, Kelce hasn’t responded publicly to the comments. Instead, he’s remained focused on football and redemption. Whether the backlash affects his standing among Swift’s fans remains to be seen, but NFL comebacks don’t always play out on the field alone.

Tony Romo speaking on CBSTony Romo (Photo via CBS)
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is not the most popular guy on TV. That much was apparent while he was calling the Wild Card game between the Broncos and Bills for CBS on Sunday.

Romo, who has done very little to hide how much he admires Buffalo QB Josh Allen, had some praise for the MVP favorite while he was attempting to take his team to the Divisional Round.

Some fans felt like he was being overly gracious, while some simply couldn’t stand him talking in general.

“STFU AGAIN ROMO!!!!!!!!! I’M TIRED OF YOUR BILLS AND CHIEFS GLAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE SICKENING ASF!!!!!!!!!!” an X user wrote.

“Can we start a petition to ban Romo from calling games,” another asked.

“Can Tony Romo get off his kneees for Josh Allen?” someone else chimed in.

“Tv muted when romo starts talking,” a fan claimed.

Tony Romo’s Partner Reached Impressive Milestone

While Romo was getting slammed, his broadcast colleague touched an impressive milestone.

Jim Nantz has been with CBS for over 40 years and reached his 500th game with the network calling Sunday’s fixture.

Nantz and Romo have been working together for seven of those 40 years.

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.

In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.

“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.

Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
