Troy Aikman is no homer, but he still loves his Dallas Cowboys.

Former Dallas Cowboys QB and Pro Football Hall of Famer Troy Aikman was on Good Morning America on Tuesday and made a shocking admission about his former team.

The 2025 NFL schedule is slowly being released this week, which means everyone is already making Super Bowl picks.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, who will be back on ESPN calling Monday Night Football games this year, did just that while making an appearance Tuesday on Good Morning America.

Buck went first and picked the Buffalo Bills.

“I’m going to say Buffalo finally wins it,” Buck said.

Aikman shocked everyone when he said: “Cowboys! Yeah, c’mon Strah!” while yelling over at former New York Giants great Michael Strahan.

The Dallas Cowboys would be a huge surprise as they haven’t even been to an NFC title game since the 1995 season.

Aikman was on that team when it last happened.

Josh Allen and the Bills, however, have a very real chance. They just have to figure out how to defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in the postseason.

After watching NFC East rival Philadelphia win the Super Bowl over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Dallas Cowboys are still waiting to see when they will taste glory.

The Cowboys finished the 2024 season with a 7-10 record, placing them third in the division. The Eagles won the division with a 14-3 record, while the Commanders finished second with a 12-5 record.

The Eagles are expected to still be good, while the Commanders have only gotten better this offseason following an NFC Championship appearance.

The Giants may have also found their QB of the future while having Russell Wilson taking over for now.

It is going to be an uphill battle for the Dallas Cowboys.
