James Pearce and Rickea Jackson began dating while at Tennessee. That relationship continued after he got drafted into the NFL. Now, he’s been given a no-contact order by a judge after posting a $20,500 bond.

The Atlanta Falcons rookie was booked into a Miami-Dade jail on Saturday. This was after he allegedly struck a vehicle driven by WNBA star Rickea Jackson several times while Jackson was driving away from him. Pearce, who was in a relationship with Jackson for 3 years before ending it, is now facing multiple charges.

Among his charges are aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated stalking, and aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer. He was released Sunday after posting a $20,500 bond.

Now, the red flags that he was displaying are starting to surface.

Atlanta Falcons rookie James Pearce Jr. allegedly crashed his white Lamborghini SUV into Rickea Jackson’s car. That came right before he struck a police officer “intentionally in an attempt to evade arrest” during his arrest, according to the criminal complaint obtained by ESPN.

The WNBA star said Pearce rear-ended her car and hit her head-on while she was driving toward the Doral (Florida) Police Department.

In an effort to run away, Pearce’s vehicle struck the officer in his left knee as he was fleeing the scene. He “began to resist arrest by tensing his arms and not allowing officers to apprehend him,” per the complaint.

James Pearce was released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Sunday night after posting a $20,500 bond.

Now, social media has found a damning video from two weeks ago showing just how uncomfortable Rickea looked around him. In the video, Pearce searches for Jackson, comes over to her, and shoves the camera in her face. She immediately falls back while he orders her to give her a kiss.

Rickea then covers her face before the video shuts off.
