SportsCenter anchor Elle Duncan had an important message to get through to social media amid a recent tragedy.

Duncan, a prominent SportsCenter and women’s basketball host for ESPN, took to X with a desperate plea for help.

Late last month, a truck driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into several vehicles on the interstate in Texas. Three generations of a Texas family were among those killed.

The crash victims were identified as 79-year-old Billy McKellar, 52-year-old Zabar McKellar, 45-year-old Krishaun McKellar, and 16-year-old Kason McKellar.

A fifth person, 49-year-old Nicole Gregory, who is unrelated to the family, was also killed. What makes the tragedy so much worse is that 20-year-old Evan McKellar is the only survivor from her family’s vehicle. She was left fighting for her life in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

She had been riding with her family in a Ford F-150 truck at the time and was sent to the ICU at Parkland Hospital with critical injuries. She would end up losing her foot in the tragedy.

On X, formerly Twitter, Elle Duncan wanted to bring more attention to the tragedy since it has basically been thrust out of the news due to the ongoing tragedy of the floods.

“This 20 yr old young woman just lost her entire family in a car accident after an 18 wheel truck driver fell asleep and hit them. She lost her foot and is fighting for her life. Please, if you can, help her navigate this unimaginable tragedy,” Duncan wrote.

Elle Duncan Helps Raise Thousands of Dollars

A 20-year-old woman critically injured in a deadly crash on I-20 near Terrell over the weekend is the sole survivor from the Ford F-150 that was struck by a semi-truck.

Elle Duncan provided a link to the GoFundMe and has helped thousands of dollars flow into the fundraiser.

As of this writing, there are more than 92,000 raised.

The LSU star has herself revealed the reason for the unique dressing choice and it may surprise a lot of people.

“I had surgery two years back on my shin. I have a rod in my leg… I cover the scar on one, and then the two players that I admire, Te’a Cooper and A’ja Wilson, also wear it, too. So it is swag. But I have used it to cover my scar,” said Angel Reese. She revealed that she had surgery on her leg and had a scar on it. She wears the leggings to hide that scar and at the same time as a swag fashion accessory.

Angel Reese declares for WNBA draft with Vogue photoshoot

After the Tigers failed to stand up against Caitlin Clark and the Hawkeyes the fans were left wondering if the LSU star Angel Reese would declare for the upcoming NBA draft. Reese has answered those questions with a beautiful photoshoot in collaboration with Vogue. Reese did a photo shoot with the brand and announced that she would be declaring for the WNBA draft.

Reese expressed her thoughts about the decision on her official X (formerly Twitter) account. “Making my announcement with VOGUE was ICONIC. In the new world that I am stepping into, just believe in me, trust in me, and give me time to learn and grow!” said Reese in the post. She thanked her supporters for their support and love and also asked them to trust her in her new journey.
