The rivalry between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark just hit another boiling point. On Tuesday, Reese stirred controversy with a TikTok post that took a direct and racially charged jab at Clark. The video showed a photo of Clark walking away from a visibly agitated Reese, with a bold caption hovering above it: “White girl running away from the fade.”
It didn’t take long for the video to explode across social media. Reese’s millions of followers saw it first, but by mid-afternoon, the clip was circulating far beyond TikTok. Sports fans, media voices, and athletes began weighing in quickly, with many questioning not just the tone of the video, but the motivation behind it.
Reaction To The Post Reignites Longstanding Debate

This isn’t the first time Reese has appeared to mock or belittle Clark, but the racial language in this post struck a deeper chord. While tensions between the two stars have brewed since their NCAA matchups, critics argue that Reese’s latest move goes beyond trash talk and veers into dangerous territory.
Angel Reese just shared a TikTok video mocking Caitlin Clark as a scared “white girl” who doesn’t want to physically fight her.
Reese hates Clark. Many people owe @RGIII and others an apology. Let’s start w/@Realrclark25, @jemelehill, and @elleduncanESPN.https://t.co/wvjJZzHSoL

Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, who previously said Reese “hates” Clark, now looks validated in the eyes of some. Reese’s post added fuel to that view. Meanwhile, ESPN personalities like Ryan Clark, Jemele Hill, and Chiney Ogwumike, who have downplayed any animosity or racial element in this rivalry, face renewed scrutiny.
Ryan Clark, in particular, previously questioned Griffin’s right to comment on Black women, citing Griffin’s interracial marriage. But now, voices across the sports world are asking whether Clark and others owe Griffin an apology. The contrast between Griffin’s stance and those defending Reese continues to widen.
Angel Reese reposted a TikTok video featuring what appears to be a racial slur directed Caitlin Clark and claiming Reese was going to attack her.

So far, Reese has not commented on the backlash, and none of her usual media defenders have spoken publicly about the TikTok post. That silence hasn’t gone unnoticed. Fans and commentators alike are calling out the double standard, pointing out that if the roles were reversed and Clark had shared a racially charged post about Reese, the outrage would likely be immediate and widespread.
ESPN’s Monica McNutt once said, “If this were the other way around, oh Lord.” That sentiment is echoing louder now, as the sports world waits to see if anyone will hold Reese accountable—or if the controversy will get swept under the rug once again.
Tony Romo (Photo via CBS)
Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is not the most popular guy on TV. That much was apparent while he was calling the Wild Card game between the Broncos and Bills for CBS on Sunday.
Romo, who has done very little to hide how much he admires Buffalo QB Josh Allen, had some praise for the MVP favorite while he was attempting to take his team to the Divisional Round.
Some fans felt like he was being overly gracious, while some simply couldn’t stand him talking in general.
“STFU AGAIN ROMO!!!!!!!!! I’M TIRED OF YOUR BILLS AND CHIEFS GLAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE SICKENING ASF!!!!!!!!!!” an X user wrote.
“Can we start a petition to ban Romo from calling games,” another asked.
“Can Tony Romo get off his kneees for Josh Allen?” someone else chimed in.
“Tv muted when romo starts talking,” a fan claimed.
Tony Romo’s Partner Reached Impressive Milestone
While Romo was getting slammed, his broadcast colleague touched an impressive milestone.
Jim Nantz has been with CBS for over 40 years and reached his 500th game with the network calling Sunday’s fixture.
Nantz and Romo have been working together for seven of those 40 years.

Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson has emerged as one of the most prominent figures in women’s basketball. Her outstanding achievements and dominant performances on the court have boosted her confidence in her skills. However, this confidence has recently caused her some trouble, as NBA fans criticized her for a recent statement she made.
In a recent episode of the “Roommates” show, Wilson stunned both the NBA and WNBA by claiming that she could defeat New York Knicks star Josh Hart in a one-on-one matchup. Additionally, she predicted that the final score would be 11-8.
“Score would be 11-8, me. I’m not saying you gonna go scoreless, 8 to 11 is pretty solid. So, what do you think it’ll be, Josh?” Wilson said.
Although Josh and Wilson both had a good laugh during their conversation, Wilson’s comment stirred up the basketball community. “She’d lose 11-0 w him only playing w his offhand,” one fan said.
