Kevin Durant had no clue he was being traded to the Houston Rockets on Sunday and found out along with everyone else at Fanatics Fest, while on stage at that.

ESPN’s Shams Charania broke the news in the early afternoon, noting that Durant was leaving the Phoenix Suns for Houston, with Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, this year’s No. 10 pick, and five second-round picks going the other way.

“The Phoenix Suns are trading two-time NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 draft and five second-round picks, sources tell ESPN,” Charania wrote in a tweet.
