The internet is in love with the Korean commentary on Tyrese Haliburton’s wild buzzer-beater against the Knicks.
Haliburton is officially a New York villain after firing the Pacers to a win at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, stealing one from the home team after going down big.
The Knicks appeared to have the first game of the Eastern Conference Finals all sewn up, having gone on a late 16-1 run to open up a 17-point lead.
They were still up by nine with under a minute to go in the fourth quarter. However, the Pacers seemingly never know when they’re beaten and went on a run of their own, with Haliburton and Aaron Nesmith leading the charge.
The point guard hit a wild shot to send the game to overtime, initially attacking the basket but dribbling back out before launching a shot that saw the ball hit the back rim, bounce several feet into the air, and land in the net.
A clip of the Korean version of the broadcast showing the crazy shot has since gone viral.
“The Korean TV calls of Haliburton shots continue to rule,” an X post noted.

Tyrese Haliburton Thought It Was Over Then

Tyrese Haliburton and everyone else thought the game was over at that point, but it turns out that the shot was game-tying and not game-winning, as he had a foot on the three-point line.
The contest went to overtime, and the Pacers eventually sealed the victory.
Haliburton admitted he wouldn’t have dropped the choke gesture if he knew the shot wasn’t a three.
He will have an opportunity to take a 2-0 lead back to Indianapolis when the Pacers return to MSG for Game 2 on Friday night.
