Travis Hunter’s rise in the NFL has come with growing attention on his new wife, Leanna Lenee.

Lenee, the wife of Jacksonville Jaguars rookie star Travis Hunter, shared a video of her breaking down in tears as she was under brutal scrutiny from online trolls.

Over the past year, Lenee has been the center of a firestorm of hate online due to stories of how she has allegedly treated him in the past, including in recent events.

This past season ended with Hunter winning the Heisman Trophy, the second ever won by a player from the University of Colorado, and led to him getting picked second-overall by Jacksonville.

A few weeks later, Hunter and Lenee would tie the knot in Tennessee at a glamorous wedding following years of dating.

The online hate has not stopped.

Jacksonville Jaguars star wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter’s newlywed wife, Leanna Lenee, released a video of herself crying.

Leanna Lenee Hunter, wife of Travis Hunter, is once again being dragged through the mud.

One single video from her TikTok shows Lenee sobbing in a selfie video.

NFL fans were quick to respond with comments of concern for Travis & Leanna.

“Travis about to lose $150Ms, Travis my nigga I hate it had to be him,” one fan wrote.

“Pre gaming the divorce lol victim card 101,” another said.

Some felt the video was setting up for something bigger, with one fan stating, “Women that record themselves crying have ulterior motives.”

Despite how people are taking it, the video isn’t new, and it has nothing to do with her relationship with Hunter. Lenee originally recorded the emotional clip back in December 2024.

In the overlay text on the viral video, she wrote: “I wish I could go back and hug December me. Because, oh baby, God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way.”

“I don’t even recognize this girl anymore. The amount you can grow and develop in just 6 months of devoting your life to Jesus and getting away from the shackles of the world and social media is truly astounding. I wish the peace I found within Jesus on everyone who reads this. Your identity in him matters, not how people choose to perceive you.”
