Whoops!
Being an athlete means dealing with all of the bumps and bruises that come with it, as Jutta Leerdam knows all too well.
Before she even stepped on the ice, the speed skater was already facing criticism at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The 27-year-old won a silver medal for the Netherlands during the 2022 Beijing Olympics. She also captured a few gold medals at the World Championships in the 1000 meters and the team sprint.
Leerdam entered the 2026 Olympics with a ton of confidence in the 1000m since she has won three of her four World Cup races this season.
As for her personal life, Leerdam is currently engaged to boxer Jake Paul. She already created quite the stir at the Olympics. Multiple headlines called her out for her diva-like behavior when she flew to the Olympics via a private jet.
Despite all of that, you cannot take her talent away from her. She has proven herself again and again. There was one moment that remains ingrained in fans’ minds when it comes to Jutta Leerdam.

Dutch speedskater Jutta Leerdam has fallen down quite a bit on the ice. During what appears to be a practice session, she suffered one of the worst falls of her career.
She fell onto the ice and crashed into a siding. It was so bad that the pants were ripped from the back. Unfortunately for her, she had no clue as she bent over to gather herself from the fall.
Her embarrassing moment turned into a great one for fans.
“I didn’t know they allowed crack in the Olympics, but hey, I’m not complaining. 👀,” one fan said.
“Who else just watched this more than once?” a second fan asked.
“the most beautiful athlete in the world,” a third fan wrote about Jutta Leerdam.
“I have no idea why, but they have this chick plastered all over my X account right today🤭don’t worry I don’t mind….at all⛈️✌🏻🤣⛈️,” one final fan commented.
In the meantime, the Dutch female speedskater lived up to the high expectations that were set for her on Monday. She won the gold medal in the 1,000-meter speed skating at the Winter Olympics. Jutta set an Olympic record with a time of 1:12.31.
She eclipsed the record that was set by her Dutch teammate, Femke Kok, just moments before she hit the ice.
Luka Doncic ‘destroys’ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban

Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.
It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.
Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.
On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.
Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget
The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić
While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.
Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.
Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.
Luka Doncic ‘DESTROYS’ his old team
Luka delivered a dazzling performance against his former team, putting up 45 points on 16-of-28 shooting, including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also added 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals in a game that showed exactly why he’s one of the best in the league.
From the opening tip, Doncic was locked in. By halftime, Doncic had racked up 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in just 19 minutes—marking the 10th time in his career he’s scored 30 or more in a single half.
Though his scoring slowed in the second half, he continued to lead effectively, securing both a Lakers win and an unforgettable showing for the fans in Dallas.

“Sometimes silence protects the sport. This time, it protects no one.” After days of outrage over Madison Chock and Evan Bates’ controversial silver in Milano, NBC analyst Scott Hamilton has finally spoken — and he didn’t hedge his words. While his first reaction appeared measured and diplomatic, mounting backlash from fans pushed the Olympic legend to address the judging storm head-on. This time, he acknowledged the emotional toll more directly, revealing that the result hit far deeper than the public realized. According to Hamilton, the heartbreak wasn’t just about standing one place lower on the podium. It led to raw, behind-closed-doors conversations — the kind that force elite athletes to question everything, including their future in the sport. In figure skating, where commentary is often cautious and restrained, Hamilton’s decision to speak so openly carries weight. His message was unmistakable: he stands firmly with Chock and Bates. And in a sport decided by decimals, that public support may be the most powerful statement yet.
