We do not often see young kids being tackled on the field, but that is exactly what happened when the San Diego Padres took on the San Francisco Giants.

An overzealous San Diego fan learned a brutal lesson Tuesday night when security tackled him to the ground at Petco Park after he ran onto the field in the eighth inning of the team’s 5-1 win over the Giants.

We’re used to seeing fans run on the field at games and getting laid out by security guards before being hauled off to a jail cell, but that practice is usually left for adults.

This has to be the youngest fan to ever storm a field at a professional sporting event and find out that security did not care about his age or size.

To be fair, one security guard grabbed him, but another overzealous one clearly wanted his shine and came through with a massive hit from behind, which sent the crowd into a chorus of boos.

As you can see, the young Padres fan ran onto the outfield grass, prompting a chase from the ballpark’s security team. Video shows one security guard wrapping up the fan and holding him upright before another guard raced in and tackled the young fan to the ground from behind.

Padres reliever Jason Adam also grimaced as he watched the situation unfold from the pitcher’s mound.

The San Diego Padres lead 2-1 in a four-game series with the San Francisco Giants.

The team has made up some incredible ground in the National League West, with a stacked Dodgers team only leading by one game. As the Dodgers continue to falter, San Diego stays right on their tail in an effort to win the division for the first time in almost 20 years.

San Diego last won the National League West division title in 2006. That year, they finished with an 88-74 record

As of this writing, the team is currently 71-56 with 35 games to play. The team just needs to win 17 more to get to that 88-win marker and possibly run away with the division crown and start the playoffs at Petco Park with their insane crowd.

Brittney Griner Finally Breaks Her Silence Over Alleged Caitlin Clark Comments That The WNBA Refused To Investigate

WNBA star Brittney Griner was at the center of a new debate over what she allegedly said in a game against basketball phenom Caitlin Clark.

The Atlanta Dream center found herself at the center of social media controversy last month when some fans thought she disparaged Indiana Fever star guard Caitlin Clark upon fouling out.

The game’s broadcast focused on an upset Griner saying something as she returned to the Dream bench after fouling out of the game. While there’s no audio of this moment, some who tried to read Griner’s lips thought she called Clark a “trash f–king white girl.”

However, there’s no proof of Griner saying those actual words since others thought she stated something else.

It took weeks for someone to finally get a quote from her, and she provided much of nothing.

Brittney Griner was asked about this moment before her team’s June 15 game against the Washington Mystics and said, “I remember fouling out, being mad. I remember fouling out on, I believe it was [Natasha] Howard driving to the basket. They said I put my hand in.”

Moments before the conclusion of the Indiana Fever’s 81-76 victory over the Dream at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta weeks ago, cameras seemingly caught Atlanta Dream star center Brittney Griner labeling Caitlin Clark “trash” before calling her a “f***ing white girl” in frustration over a foul on Natasha Howard.

The clip of Griner speaking on the bench, lacking context, spread on social media and went viral.

Griner, who won a gold medal for Team USA at the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024, essentially got aw@y with whatever came out of her mouth because the league basically ignored the controversy.

This incident is not the only time Griner vocalized her frustrations this season. Following another game, she stormed off mid-interview, yelling at the referees to “be f—ing better.
